• Your Top 10 favorite films, beginning appropriately enough with your #1 favorite film — you can choose up to 25 top films in any order, with the exception of your #1 choice. 
• We also ask for your #1 favorite actor (male/female/non-binary) and #1 favorite director (also of any gender!). As with your favorite films, you can choose 24 more unranked choices for actors and directors in addition to your #1 favorites, for a grand total of 25 top selections in each category.
• •  We use your choices to help find potential CineConnections for you, as well as your choices for the person you're seeking. Once you make your top choices, they are locked in and you will not be able to edit or revise them for three months. 

We get it: ask us on any given day what our favorite film is and you might get a different  answer every time. What we're trying to do at CineConnections is prevent people from "gaming the system." 

Say, for example, you find a person you're interested in and that person's favorite film is Clueless (a great film, BTW), but yours is Barry Lyndon (also great). We are trying to prevent people from changing their choices too often in order to appeal to people they find appealing. 

We also think great conversations come from differences of opinion and that a Clueless fan could potentially become a fan of Barry Lyndon, and vice-versa! All part of the endless discussions potential matches might have around cinema. But by keeping your choices locked for three months, we can ensure that our members are not going to change their favorites on a regular basis.
